Chain Mail Armor Set
The Chain Mail Armor set is a Tier 1 medium armor set.
It is probably the hardest non-heavy armor to craft, since it requires the use of ingots. It offers a good protection for a medium armor, so it sees a lot of use among melee specialists which prefer to stay in medium armor for the increased choice on skills compared to an heavy armor. The price for this is an increased Armor Encumbrance compared to other non-heavy armors and bad insulations.
It offers no insulation toward heat (0), and an average insulation toward cold (10). Users of this set may experience issues during the day in most locations and during the night in the colder locations.
It offers an average physical (260) and a minor magical (200) protection. The protection increases to 460 against Slashing Damage and to 360 against Piercing Damage.
Like all Tier 1 sets it provides no special bonuses for wearing all four pieces of the set.
It is composed by Chain Mail Armor, Chain Mail Boots, Chain Mail Gauntlets and Chain Mail Helmet. In total it has an Armor Encumbrance of 40.
The components of this set have a base durability of 350.
