Armor Encumbrance
The Armor Encumbrance is a value tied to armor and shield items and indicates how heavy it is and how much it impairs the movement of the user. The Armor Encumbrance goes from a value of 0 for a naked character, to a value of 100 for a character in full plate armor with heavy shield. The higher it is, the more limitations it imposes on the wearer. The effect of Armor Encumbrance is a reduction to the user Move Speed and Attack Speed, according to the following formula.

In addition, the Armor Encumbrance inflicts a penalty to the cooldown of the skills of the user. This penalty increases the cooldown of all skills by:

Combined, these penalties mean that a player is slower and less effective, the heavier the armor he wears.
Each point of encumbrance reduces your chances to dodge by 2%.
