Blacksmithing
Smelting Ores and Alloys, Forging Weapons & Armor is done at the Blacksmith Shop.
The Blacksmith shop can be equipped with a Forge for crafting Armors and weapons or a Smeltery for smelting ore. You can also build them on your plot. As with all stations that refine materials, you must have access to a Smeltery in order to use it. Note that the Smeltery located in the starting cities are not accessible.
Fuel
To start the processing of Smelting you'll need fuel. Each fuel produces different amounts of heat, so it's wise to mix fuels to produce the amount of heat you'll need for your task. You can use up to 3 fuels in a Smeltery.

- Coal comes from coal nodes around the world

Smeltery
A Smelter can be filled with up to 3 fuels, ores and additional components. Depending on what fuel you use will change the temperature outcome; Higher temperatures are needed to smelt different ores. The smeltery has an internal inventory. You will have to put all the materials you want to use inside this inventory. It takes 2.5 hours for the ores to become two ingots. You can select to smelt more ingots but the duration of the process will increase by 1.5 hours for each 2 additional ingots.
