Armor Encumbrance
The Armor Encumbrance is a value tied to armors and indicates how heavy it is and how much it impairs the movement of the user. The Armor Encumbrance goes from a value of 0 for a character in light armor, to a value of 100 for a character in heavy armor. The higher it is, the more limitations it imposes on the wearer. The effect of Armor Encumbrance is a reduction to the user Move Speed and overall damage, according to the following formula.

In addition, the Armor Encumbrance inflicts a penalty to the evasion of the user.

Combined, these penalties mean that a player is slower and less effective, the heavier the armor he wears.
In practical terms, a player in medium armor (encumbrance 50) will have half the normal amount of evasion, will inflict 17.5% less damage and move 5% slower. A player in heavy armor will have no evasion, inflict 35% less damage and move 10% slower.
